The Música do Círculo’s Retreat is an experience to live rhythm and music in a new way, immersive and in contact with nature!
The idea is to gather for a week, away from the city, to experience a way of living that prioritizes affection, creativity, cooperation, and a sense of community.
Through vocal and body percussion practices based on games and improvisation, physical activities, dialogue, play, and healthy eating, the retreat creates a space of listening, trust, and playfulness that contributes to individuals developing their musicality, sensitivity, self-confidence, and sense of belonging.
The first edition of this gathering took place in 2015, and the Music of the Circle movement has since grown into an international musical community.
Since then, we have welcomed hundreds of people from dozens of countries, including experienced artists, curious educators, and individuals not professionally connected to music. Renowned masters such as Fernando Barba, Keith Terry, and Christiane Karam have also been part of our community.
Activities encompass musical and human development practices, including vocal music, body percussion, improvisation, cooperative musical games, Circle Music flows, physical activities, and listening practices.
This retreat will allow you to gain a deeper understanding of the practice and worldview supported by the Music of the Circle.
