Life in the ecovillage
All accommodations are close to the ocean and the river, surrounded by the forest. The rooms were designed for the sea breeze: large windows, no air conditioning and no fans.
There is Wi-Fi in the common areas, and the rhythm here invites you to slow down. That is why we are not a hotel or an inn: we are a space for self-knowledge, simplicity and connection with Nature.
Meals included
Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included in every night, served at Karuh, our restaurant. Plant-based food, made with care and different every day.
Stay and retreat
You can book just the accommodation and spend a few days in Nature. If it is your first time, we recommend the Unah Retreat: 7 days, Sunday to Saturday, with accommodation and meals. See also our upcoming retreats.
Plan your trip
Unah is on the Maraú Peninsula, Bahia, Brazil. The way in includes dirt roads and, in some cases, a boat crossing of the Rio de Contas. We offer transfers from Ilhéus Airport (IOS) and nearby towns.
